Using Self Hypnosis to Improve Your Life

For those who do not trust hypnotherapy, self hypnosis may be the solution to allow you to reap all of the benefits of hypnotherapy without having to trust someone else with your subconscious. Due to the fact that many are afraid of having a hypnotherapy session done on them, professionals have developed a system that lets the average person take control of their subconscious and begin to improve their own minds and habits.

Self hypnosis is not for everyone. In order to be able to succeed at self hypnosis, there are several things that need to be done. First, you need to be able to sit still for a long period of time. Usually, a minimum of thirty minutes. With the high paced world of modern society, many people have lost the ability to just sit still and reflect on themselves and get into the mindset required for self hypnosis. However, if you are willing to make the effort, you may be able to change yourself to be able to get into the mindset required.

There are different styles of self hypnosis. You will want to pick a style that is suitable for your needs. The most common style is very similar to the meditations used in various religions around the world. If you are interested in meditation, you will be able to pick up self hypnosis very easily, because self hypnosis and meditation share many characteristics.

Like meditation, self hypnosis requires that you clear your thoughts and relax your body. By doing this, you can easy your mind into a different state of mind. In some forms of meditation, this is called the pursuit of enlightenment and wisdom. Like in meditation, it can take a long time to master the art of self hypnosis, but the rewards gained far outweigh the time spent learning the art.

Unlike forms of religious meditation, instead of performing a religious mantra to clear your thoughts and communicate with the divine, self meditation uses a different style of mantra. In this case, the mantra is a repetition of what you want to do or change in your life. This mantra an be something as simple as ‘live healthy’, or deal with a far more complex problem. No matter what your situation, you can use self hypnosis to deal with your issues. As you delve deeper into your subconscious thoughts, you may even be able to see and understand the source of your problems, which is a huge asset when you are going to correct those problems.

If you are curious about self hypnosis, there are many resources available that will help guide you on learning the skill and answer any questions that you may have.

Understanding PSYOPS – Creating Mental Pressure

Only very few people, rich oligarchs control the media, but many people work for them. This creates the illusion of a large group of people all agreeing on what you can see on your screen. The media are structured just like the army: One crazy general gives one crazy order, and a huge number of soldiers will comply and go to war. This illusion of a media-collective induces a strong mental pressure in the viewer. The same way a large number of soldiers will impress you more than one single army general. Several owners of the media corporations get together in a Bilderberger-fashion, and like that they achieve a synchronization of the propaganda in the media. When all of the media-channels spread the same lies such as “weapons of mass-destruction in Iraq” at the same time, then you will say: “but they can’t all be lying at the same time”. Yes, they can. “Yes, we can fool you.”

BMIR part 4 of 4 – NLP Demonstration – Behavioral Manifestations of Internal Representation

www.michaeljemery.com http — If you are interested in personal development coaching with Michael, sign up for a trial session in Michael’s Coaching Gym. michaeljemery.com BMIR’s are minimal nonverbal and verbal accessing cues corresponding to internal 4-tuples (VAKOG). Okay, that probably sounds like giberish to most people outside of the NLP community. In neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), there is the theory that when people process information (daydream, visualize, remember, imagine, decide, pay attention…) subtle nonverbal and verbal cues occur that reveal their thinking process. These are referred to as accessing cues. Visually, I typically perceive changes in the following: facial muscle tone, skin color, lower lip size, eye movements, pupil size, head tilt, breathing (depth/rate), posture (generally referred to as physiology), angle of spine, gestures. On an auditory level, I listen to changes in: tone, tempo, locus, pitch, volume, rhythm, pauses, and predicates. In my opinion, predicates (the words people use to describe an experience) reveals a lot about the way that they are processing information, but are so often ignored by people in everyday conversations leading to confusion and disagreements. Examples could be as follows: Visual – “I can see what you mean…” Auditory – “This sounds fine to me…” Kinesthetic – “I don’t know, I get a bad feeling about it…” Most of the time, people communicate without too much conscious awareness of the words they use
