Handshake (Rapid) Induction
For more information about using and learning Hypnosis… Visit my website here: www.paradoxhypnosis.com Join my Newsletter here www.KC2XL.com After my hypnosis show, an audience member approached me and asked me about hypnosis. He wanted to know how it felt and wanted to be hypnotized. I introduced him to a rapid induction (handshake method), which is a combination of expectation and shock that set the stage for a deep trance. See his reaction to this induction method in the video. (Thank goodness the cameraman kept recording after the show).
@maxinpains I sell a DVD that teaches how to do these types of hypnosis inductions. You can purchase it here: KC2XL(dot)com.
@KC2XL
does anyone recommend any affordable dvd to learn this ? thanks
he is funny man
SLEEP!!
I understand, thanks for the reply! I’m sure the subject was positive about the upcoming situation (about beeing hypnotized) because this induction was extremely fast, so I believ you’ve had an already built “background trance”. PS: I wouldn’t reject a trance induced by you
Sometimes an induction can be done with minimal or no conversational hypnosis–these are unique situations such as the one in my video (above). The volunteer in this video was quite excited about the chance to be hypnotized. When he approached me, he was so excited that he was already teetering on the edge of dropping into a hypnotic state. Therefore, in this case, no conversational hypnosis was necessary before this instant induction. (See the text accompanying the video for more information).
Thank you!
Usually people focus only on the formal part of the induction (the instant/rapid technique). They don’t realize that inductions start the moment the hypnotist first engages the volunteer (at the first “hello” or communication). So, any rapid induction, especially instant inductions such as a handshake (arm pull), is much more effective and the resulting hypnotic state of the client is much more profound when covert (conversational) hypnosis is used as part of the induction.
Hello! I am amazed by your videos, realy I believ it’s a lot of work behind what we see. I have one question: in order to prepare the “target” for the handshake method, do you use Covert Hypnosis?
Best wishes!
No, there is no magic combination of movements and/or words to guide a person into a state of hypnosis. Doing any type of hypnosis efficiently, consistently and well requires thorough understanding of hypnotic techniques and how the mind works in reference to states of hypnosis.
That ais what i ve read..
thumb middle little middle thumb and up and down and it is done.. it that right?? you do all of these mouvements?? so fast?
can u learn this to me?

Is it possible to go to any random person, and use a pattern interupt saying sleepand causing them to go straight to sleep, without Knowing the individual
Once the clients fears/misconceptions are removed or properly addressed, then the same induction that seemed to fail before, will work beautifully.
There are many reasons why an induction might fail (especially when used by novice/new hypnotists or sloppy hypnotists). If you learn your techniques well, and understand the principles behind both basic and advanced hypnosis, then generally everyone (who is not severely mentally or emotionally disabled) can be guided successfully into hypnosis.
Usually, when I use rapid inductions, I have already taken time to determine which approach would work best for a person. So, they generally work consistently well. In the rare times that an induction fails, I immediately switch to a different rapid technique or take time to address issues that might hinder the client from being hypnotized (i.e., fears, misconceptions). When a client doesn’t respond as expected, it’s often due to the client’s fears/misconceptions or sloppy hypnosis.
have you ever tried doing a rapid induction like the video above and failed to hypnotize them? if that happened….what did they do?
No, it’s not that easy. Properly doing instant and rapid inductions looks very simple on the surface but there is much more to it than just words and gestures. You have to prepare the client mentally for the experience, which can take anywhere from a brief moment to a minute depending on the situation.
Learning to prepare a client quickly and properly for instant hypnosis and learning what to watch for requires study and practice.
so if i walk up to someone & put my hand out & say hi and they shake it then i grab their wrist with my other hand & bring it up to theire face and say sleep will it work ?
There are many types of effective instant inductions. Whether they work depends on many factors that include (but are not limited to): proper execution, lack of building proper expectation, lack of rapport, etcetera.
No one there was sure what made that sound. We all thought it might have been a bird.
ive seen related ways to hypnotize someone like this, but do they all work?
and also, what the hell was the monkey in the background all about???
Hypnotist wins, flawless victory.
…And thank you for joining my newsletter.
If you read the accompanying text, you’ll find that he approached me after watching my hypnosis show. He was not in the show. He watched from the audience and was so excited by what he saw that he wanted to experience hypnosis. His expectation and excitement were so high, that it presented the perfect atmosphere to use this type of induction. This is a unique circumstance. NOTE: whenever you meet someone whose expecation is at a fever pitch, you can hypnotize them dramatically fast.
Now, it’s obvious i couldn’t just go out to try this right now, no matter how simple it seems. Just a surprise, a shock, and then sleep. But there has to be more, That sounds too easy. Is there something you did to him previously that made him vulnerable to this induction? I’ve subscribed to your news letter and hope to learn more.
Hmm.. this in interesting and I would like to know how this works. I have been reading up a lot about this recently. I guess I will just have to wait for your first newsletter!
Isso é K. O.
oh, so its not like somebody u dont know can automatically suddenly hypnotize and control u like in the movies?
